The Free Versus Booster Map Pack is available and with it come five new maps for Gears of War 3.  Three of the maps were available with the Horde Command Pack which include:

The two new maps are Clocktower and Bullet March, both of which are remakes from the original Gears of War title.  All five maps can be played in Ranked and Quick Match!  Hope everyone is enjoying the new maps!  Watch Bullet Marsh after the break.

These are the types of messages that make doing each and every video or article so worth it! Helping people in any way be it gaming or life is such an awesome thing! I am flattered and proud to blog this message!  Knowing this gentleman is an Unreal vet is icing on the cake.

Hey, Arctic.
I wouldn’t normally take the time to write or send such a message but after watching a handful of your videos I just had to say thank you. I like watching entertaining gameplay as much as the next guy but the quality of content on your channel is exceptional and in a league of its own. I’m completely new to the gears franchise having not played any of the other titles and your channel is just what i was looking for. Im 26 and the myriad of videos of young people putting too much emphasis on being the next youtube sensation don’t really appeal to me. Its a shame more commentators don’t have your attitude, approach towards gaming and the ability to articulate their own thoughts as well as you. Personally, for me, gaming’s been getting quite stale for awhile. It’s been a long time since i played a game without simply going through the motions. Not since my competitive gaming days in the unreal tournament series but thanks to Epic, Gears and your channel i seem to have rekindled my passion for not only gaming but improving and really exploring the limits of a game.
Infact you’ve inspired me to start my own channel, a sort of rags to riches if you like. As i record my gears journey, from a newbies perspective to hopefully that of a somewhat competent player, with the help of your videos ofcourse. Just working on a couple more videos before i start uploading. So, yeah I think that pretty much sums everything up. Again thank you for your efforts, I for one really appreciate them.

I honestly can’t say that I am too wild about the rules and settings, but we’re competing in our first online Gears of War 3 tournament.  For anyone interested in followed our progress, you can check  here on our site.   It will be interesting to see how this tournament fairs considering we haven’t scrimmaged and/or practiced exclusively on Execution so we’re expecting a lot of tough competition each round.

I’ve received quite a bit of feedback on the last week’s Running Ranked Episode “Still Playing,” but I was unable to really respond to what issues people felt were keeping them away from playing Gears of War 3. Yesterday, I released “The Gears Debate,” which was sort of a response video to some of the concerns people shared about the game.
