Today I released the third Episode of my Strategy Development series.  I wanted to get feedback on what you all want to see with this video series for Gears of War 3?  I have a lot of different videos planned for the series and the counterpart I’d like to run on Machinima Respawn after I’ve nailed down some consistency with the way these videos are produced.   Some frequent requests I’ve received so far seem to be with the map Overpass which is seldom played at the competitive level, but I’d be more than happy to break it down in an upcoming video.  Some general ideas of what we have planned:

Not all of these videos will showcase competitive gameplay, however the majority of them will be from competitive scrimmages/matches using Gamebattles or MLG Settings (when they are released).  The weapon swaps and starting rifles are currently default so I’m hoping a lot of these videos can be utilized in anyone’s gameplay, regardless of whether or not they play at a competitive level.

If you guys aren’t aware, I issued this challenge at the end of my Running Ranked Episode #6.   The concept behind the “Test Your Might” challenges sparked from the “No Shots Fired” video which my team and I decided to try during the Beta.  The actual series has not officially started, however if you have a YouTube channel, please post a video response to Episode 6 or you can wait until I upload my 0-0-0 shotgun gameplay on Saturday.  The reason I decided to start it early is because I’ve already received numerous videos — take a gander at this one I received from KlotzSquared:

I’ve been glancing over my insight statistics the last couple of days because I was inching closer and closer to 2 million video views.  I actually hit 1 million about 3 months ago, so I’ve been ecstatic lately to see the growth and continued support for the content that my team and I have been producing.  I recently hit 10,000 subscribers a few days before the release of Gears 3 and I can’t express how thankful I am for all of the people that have helped me grow my channel.  Since I have yet to celebrate with a 10,000 sub video, I figured I should write something a little revealing about how I got to this point and to the people that have helped influence my outlook on life and aspirations to never settle for anything less than amazing.

I know Sub boxes have been broken for awhile on YouTube, seems like it’s becoming a frequent occurrence, but I wanted to make sure we started posting some of the videos over here on the site.  Hopefully a fix for the Subscription boxes is planned, however just in case it’s not we will be updating our videos in as many places as possible from here on out.  Additionally our upload schedule is starting to solidify and I’ve created a couple new Series with lots of exciting content planned for each.
