My first commentary video on the channel since the Gears of War 3 Beta went live!  Quite a bit has happened in the time since the Beta released.  This gameplay was taken from the Machinima Respawn Live event this past Tuesday, April 26th.  The four hour live event also included a guest appearance from Epic Games Lead Design Director, Cliff Bleszinski.  If you were watching the event, you might have caught wind of the recent news:  I was recently accepted as a Machinima Respawn Director and will be providing my Gears of War 3 content to the lineup!  I’m very excited to be presented with the opportunity to become a Director and plan on blowing up the spot!

I also now have the ability Livestream on my YouTube channel, a feature that is slowly rolling out to YouTube Partners.  I will have to figure out how to legitimately stream gameplay because I know a lot of people have asked, but I do want to stream something relatively soon.  I proposed streaming a Question and Answer session, but I’m open for any suggestions.  Let me know!

The first full trailer (second trailer released) of the upcoming Transformers: Dark of the Moon movie was unveiled today!  The trailer is available for view or download over at the Apple iTunes Trailers page.  I was a tad disappointed in the second movie, Revenge of the Fallen, but it definitely wasn’t enough to deter me from watching the 3rd installment which releases 7.1.11.  Watch the trailer after the jump.

Sony really messed up with the hacker(s) that got into their Playstation Network.  I just received my email notification from Sony basically informing me that someone, somewhere has all of my important information and could probably send a bomb in the mail to my home.  Fortunately for me, none of the information I have on the P.O.S. Network (see what I did there) is valid.  I decided to paste the email they are sending out to some undoubtedly angry customers.  Did I mention there was a Class Action Lawsuit in the works as well?  Sony, you guys really effed up.

If you have the opportunity, you might want to check out the Beastie Boys new album.  The crew decided to unleash the explicit version via online streaming after the “clean version” was leaked last week.

A statement from their website:

“Good people, unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control, the ’clean’ version of our new album, The Hot Sauce Committee pt 2 has leaked. So as a hostile and retaliatory measure with great hubris we are making the full explicit aka filthy dirty nasty version available for streaming on our site. We hope this brings much happiness, hugs, and harmony.”

Episode 3 went live earlier today and it’s probably my favorite one thus far.  This one introduces us to one of the main characters in the Mortal Kombat universe, Johnny Cage.  I thought it was hilarious that they referenced “Power Rangers” as his entry to martial arts acting fame.

This interview was actually released on Tupac Uncensored and Uncut: The Lost Prison Tapes DVD in January, but recently became available online via YouTube.  I’ve always been a big fan of Pac’s music, so any new information about his life is intriguing.  The interview is during his 1995 incarceration period in the Clinton Correctional Facility.   More on the interview is in the description below:

I just released my 11th episode of the Gears of War Lesson Series – this time looking at the starting rifles in Gears of War 3.  With the Hammerburst being very different from its Gears 2 equivalent and the Retro Lancer being a new addition to the series – a lot of players might not know where to start when they first start playing in the Gears of War 3 beta this week.  I tried to suggest a starting weapon for every type of Gears player along with some suggestions on how to get the most out of the weapons.
